September 5 saw Hennops Blue meet at the Department of Water Affairs and Sanitation to discuss awareness and education initiatives creating new and uplifting relationships within the department to drive healing the Hennops River forward. The meeting was put together by Sivashni Naicker, Production Scientist, Integrated Water Resource Planning, after she attended the Hennops River Forum and was introduced to Hennops Blue’s objectives.
Deputy Director: Sector Advocacy and Learning at Department of Water and Sanitation, Mandy Reddy, was very excited to learn that Hennops Blue will be partnering with Life 4 U Foundation in a township yoga project to help uplift the communities in the area of Tembisa. She believes it will be a very successful and effective partnership.
Mandy Reddy is going to link Hennops Blue with strategic partners and is encouraging Hennops Blue to get involved in a water and waste pollution education awareness campaign.
