Taking healing the Hennops River Ubuntu education to Southdowns College pre-primary on October 11th, 2019.
The children’s faces when I told them their river was filled with poo and plastic was one of horror! They were like sponges taking in the information of what they could do to help make a change and their answers were priceless. I wanted to hear all their stories but an open discussion in a room filled with 200 children would have been wild so I asked them to draw me pictures of a healed Hennops River to express and create a new age! Billy the Bin joined us from the Department of Environmental Affairs and he received a million hugs!
