A successful meeting took place on 26 February at Exxaro with with strong team members coming together to discuss what is required to rehabilitate the Hennops River. Ward Councillors Gert Visser and Derek Thompson, Willem Snyman fresh.ngo, Amanda Jacobs and Katherine Fillmore from Hennops Blue Horizon, Anton Bailey from Bluswirl Recycling, Anthony and Helen Duigan and Mark McClue from Armour were present. Exxaro is moving their offices to Centurion and will be close to the river and Joey Louw from the sustainability department says the company wishes to assist in cleaning the Hennops and keeping it clean.
